When product photos pile up, how the VPS and CDN split the work

What the origin does
WordPress, the database, inquiry POST. Park it near the main buyers and leave disk for backups.
What the pictures do
Compress the hero. Do not dump originals into the first screen. Cloudflare or object storage as CDN; the origin ships the first copy only.
The usual wrong buy
A large mainland cloud box and no CDN. Fast in the office, stalls when a buyer flicks the gallery.
How to test
Probe category pages and the product gallery from the target country. A homepage banner test hides the photo weight.
